306, 331, or 347 - Which one?

If you're looking for handling, stay with the 8.2 deck. The 351's extra weight where you least want it WILL make a difference!
 
That bore /stroke combo is almost magical in a small block Chevy. The 5.7 rod (or better yet: a 6") makes the math come out SO much better than the 5.4.
I would LOVE to build something on an 8.7 Dart block, but can't justify those kinds of funds for my little street car! We have to take what we can get!
 
Kind of why I ruled out the 351 early on. Just too heavy. I want to improve the handling of this car. More weight over the front will make the front-to-back weight ratio even worse than it already is. Good power and might work well for a drag car. Just a little too heavy for a track car.
