302 vs 350

I should have 3.73's here in over a month, then once the house is finished I'll be tearing the 8.8 apart :s. Yeah someone will always be faster, I just want to sustain my lead till I can get money around for a 408. Next Saturday is Test n Tune at Mid Michigan Motorplex, depending on the results is how fast I'll be working on my car lol!

Oil city does have Nitrous refills now :)... So spray is coming in the near future ;).
 
Some competiton with friends can be alot of fun, just try not to get to carried away. Me and my buddy have been going back and fourth with our quads for a little over a year now changing small things and bolts on parts and then this winter shit hit the fan and we both got a little carried away, And tho I had fun building the quad and we have alot of fun talking shit to each other, I could of finished my Blazer, and probablly my garage too instead of building the quad lol

Yeah, we are competitive in everything. The one that is doing the carb'd 350, he gets carried away with things. I guess worst case scenario, if I can't keep up, and my 302 is at it limits and I'll need more $$ into another engine, I'd switch to Buick lol! And spend more -.-
 
Even as mustang owner, I would lump them all into the same pile. There are far more butchered/hacked/pounded versions of both cars driving around than there are really clean/well-built ones.

Sweet, one more place around! One of the places in MTP was suppose to start filling them last fall, but I never made it back there to find out if they are. I think I gave Jeremy their number.
 
I don't know what your budget is, but if you could get your hands on some decent heads, I see them all the time for right around $800, buy a victor Jr intake, which you can scoop up for around $150, decent carb, and grab a msd box and distributer, I bet your car picks up a second if not more.....

Yeah I am not sure if they ever came through with that :s .. Jeremy called a few times, I think the last time was in January. I think it was the shop that all the dirt track people around here like.

Heads aren't in the budget this year. I don't understand carbs really, it sounds a lot better though!! I'll be an Efi guy for a long time. Does the victor really flow that much more?? I guess I never looked, and my Intake seems to work decently.
