anyone use these? thinkin about doing a boosted 302, but going carb blowthrough.. or anything else for the money?

Someone on here has but I don't recall who it was. Sorry. Overall I think they are viewed as decent kits, especially for the money.

I've got one on my car. Decent kit for the price, I cant complain. BG kits are supposed to be better, but the price reflects. What do you want to know about it? I've got a bunch of videos on my youtube channel of the car on the dyno ect. Took it to Lapeer this weekend and am happy what it ran.

Had an on3 kit on my last car, deff liked it for the price. It had a few things I would change but overall I'd buy another one. Only major complaint for me was the bolt pattern on the headers wasnt perfect. Dremel fixed em right up tho

how did you like the install? and how are those turbos etc.. how are the power gains from stock?

The install went great fror me. No issues with the header bolts or anything of that nature. I did have to slighly enlargen the holes on the turbo exhaust housing to get the provided bolts to fit. The base turbo has worked flawlessly since I've had it on the car which has been over 2 years. I'm curious as to how a Precision of compairable specs would fair against it. I gained about 250hp by adding 12lbs of boost. No other changes besides fuel system.

I heard they have changed the parts that they are using. They say they give you certain name brand products but then ship chines knock offs..

I also have heard they have HOPRRIBLE customer service. I have seen Numerous threads on a lot of different fourms that have a lot of complaints with false advertising and horrible customer service.

Here is one recorded convo from a customer who bought a kit and they said it came with injector made by Decca and got sent knock offs.

A Lot of people are boycotting them.

It seems as if in the beginning they built a good product (2 or 3 years ago) then started using cheaper parts to maximize their profits. Then not wanting to deal with the problems.

All im saying is buyer beware! I once looked at buying this kit.. Not so sure i want to now..

I never had any of these issues, but then again it was a couple years ago when I dealt with him. I've heard recent horror stories about pony down as well. People waiting 6 mos and still not recieving parts, and cant get into contact with them. I've heard the same thing with BG. Seems these turbo kits are in high demand these days. To the OP, The On3 Kit isnt a bad choice, it makes good power and has been dead reliable for me.

i've seen that the kits are on back order and will ship within a the next month.. i could careless when i get it if i have to deal with them again as long as everything is there.. was it the same price listed now as it was when you ordered it then?

You can't expect a Hellion Turbo kit for around 2k, ON3 kits are good for the money you pay for them. If you plan on running higher boost you should probably upgrade the BOV and gate.

see, im not worrying about that because im putting a carb on my car.. so as long as i get everything i wont deal with them.

I recently within the last two weeks have installed this kit on my notch. I have not drove the car but it does run. It is a good kit from what I seen of t and installed. Yes there are some things that need to be modified like the bolt holes for the headers like others babe said. I screwed up and stripped out one of my header bolt holes on my victor jrs. Yes you can tell most of the kit is chinese Shit bit it seems to work. I also did a blow thru carb and let me tell u its not cheap. I ended up going with a quick fuel 750 and extreme velocity hat. That alone will almost set you back another grand on top of the kit. Plus all of your vacuum lines, fittings, fuel system, boost referenced regulator, Msd with boost controller. Your looking at another grand. It seems cheap at first but it adds up in the long run. If I was to do it over again I'd do nitrous. If you would like pics of the kit installed let me know via pm with your number and is be happy to let you see them. Like i said its a nice kit it just requires a lot of misc items.

Im real happy with my on3 kit. No major fitment issues that wouldnt be expected with any "bolt on" part. just got off the dyno yesterday 537hp 596tq at 12psi
