Cliff notes. Brent Hajek was building a stock body Mustang powered by a 5.4 to hit 300mph on the salt flats. The car was wrecked before it could happen.

Holy cow! I can't imagine a barrel roll at 258mph! Granted it slowed a LOT due to wind resistance but it still had to be at least a 200MPH roll when it started. Dang. Glad Danny Thompson was OK and walked away.
