3 pedals..... should be a fun ride this year!

I had the TKO-500 in my junk. It was rough to shift. Ask J-quick. Everyone busted my balls, but it really was the trans most of the time. Someday I'll get it dog toothed and put it back in. ;)

Let me know how that works out....I personally would have it Dog Ringed but that's just my opinion...:thefinger
 
sweet, i love manual transmissions, especially since i'm not a hardcore drag racer like most of you guys. My shit has a stock T-5, which i'm sure i'm going to break at some point this year. When i do, i'm debating between re-gearing it with a strong kit or investing in a TKO conversion. Leaning toward the regear because rebuilding T-5s is easy and not having to buy different bell, crossmember, driveshaft etc.
 
I love my manual in my Camaro.... It is by means no drag or race car nor is my Chevelle (Auto). The chevelle pulls much harder than my Camaro but 6sp Manual ='s more fun

While we're still on the topic of manuals....what are some good sticks that can handle 400lb-ft everyday? I don't want something that I'm close the the max. ratings on, I'd rather have some cushion if I wanted to go with a power adder later.

Hell, I could possibly throw a T56 in the Ranger after the 302 is in. IF I can find a good deal on one. But I'm looking @ 5-speeds for now.
 
Hey OJ, at least ask Craig over at Liberty about a Ultimate TKO. Faceplated with upgraded hardware. At minimun at least have it faceplated.
