Who ever says 3.8L never crack is full of shit, 2nd cracked head in 4 days!

No clue, customer takes heads off and brings them to us so we don't come in contact with car. Had to of overheated massively though, Btw other head from this motor was not cracked!

People say there nearly impossible to crack. Now 3.1/3.4 pretty
Much crack for no reason. Same as 3.0/4.0 fords.

I thought the 3.1/3.4 cracked due to intake gasket leaks, or cooling system problems, which in turn lead to overheating, which causes the cracks?
 
If its a 3800 NA, check the intake. Theyre junk from the factory, and leak around 100k miles. When I had the intake done on my '97 Delta 88, the lifter valley looked like a swamp.
 
We just got the heads in, customer didn't drop anything off and all he wanted was check for cracks and see if they need a rebuild.
Didn't give us any other info so not sure what caused the overheat. Just know I haven't seen one cracked this bad.
Been getting alot of 3.8l heads in lately to.
