29 thousand

I graduated in 1987 and there were still some on the road. A kid in our graduating class died in one on Farmington road in Livonia. He spun out on ice and got rear ended....it burned just like the rumor said it would.

When I started here in '85, there were still some Pinto recall kits on the shelf......

It was a punishment! Stop hijacking the pinto thread!

 Sorry!! That pinto is clean as hell and killer looking!! There was a guy around the neighborhood, back in the day, that put a turbo 2.3 in a pinto and it hauled ass and did wicked burnies!! I still have VHS tapes of it somewhere!!

One word, KABOOM!!! LOL

Make sure the bolt on the inside of the bumper has been cut down. The problem with those cars was that the bolt would puncture the fuel tank in a rearend accident. Be safe. ;-)

i love that car (and the name of the color!)

my brother had a custom one back in the late 80's that was merged with a 66 mustang california special. had a built 302 in it if i remember correctly. he called it the "Pintang" lol...
