Have a chance pick up a good deal set 275/60/15 DR on a 10 inch rim with 5.5 BS wondering if theses will fit fine on a 86gt foxbody fenders are not rolled.

5.5" back spacing on a 10inch rim is all wrong for a fox body. need a 6.5 bs rim on a 15x10. Will most likely rub very hard and stick out like a monster truck.

they would work on 85-88 thunderbird with a mustang rear end. 3/4" narrower. still a 10" rim is alot on a fox stang even with rolled fenders. 15x8 is a better fit with 5.5" bs

You can get a 10" rim to fit on a stang but it takes some rolling and you will need the right wheel tire combo. Corral.net has a sweet wheel thread that has a hundred pages of wheel/tire photos along with what the backspacing was, tire size is, and if there was any additional work that needed to be done (rolling, remove quad shocks, change links, ect). Here is a link:

Yup, i had a 10" rim with 6.5 back space on my mustang with a 27x11.50 QTP. Fit like a glove with some hammering.

This is when i first put teh car together, i had teh uppers off center. After fixing it (moving the rear end back to teh drivers side) they fit better and i actually lowered teh car more.
