2021-22 Lions thread

Crazy that 5 teams in the NFC have clinched a playoff spot and nobody in the AFC has clinched yet [emoji15]….

Threw his 4th pick 6 today and couldn’t even cover the spread against the Ravens. Cost me some points.

Is the honeymoon over in LA? Based on this guy's math, if you take out the first four games of the year (when everyone was saying Stafford was MVP material), Stafford is no better with the Rams than Goff was statistically.

So you're telling me... if you take away his stats from his best four games... his numbers are lower? Got it.

Same thing would apply to, errr... every other QB in the league :dunno:

He's currently 2nd in TDs thrown, 4th in yards and QBR...

More importantly, they have won 5 in row (including 2 wins over teams with winning records), are first in their division and sitting #2 in the NFC.

So, that article is dumb.

I mean, MM has spent 10 years saying Stafford’s stats don’t matter if the team doesn’t win. Now his team is winning and the wins don’t matter… the stats do? Pick a side

The wins matter for sure. It's like they win in spite of him though. 2 picks yesterday and a fumble from what I saw. You don't win titles playing like that. But this isn't a rams thread.

Lions went out and handled business, I sure hope GB doesnt lay down too bad now that they've clinched.

You win titles by going 6 for 6 to drive your team down the field for a game winning score

Stafford definitely has it in him - there was ONE Lion's season about 5 or 6 years ago where he pulled off like 5 games with 4th quarter scoring drives. Let's see if he can do it in the playoffs though!

It would be nice until he faces the Bills in the SB.

So which quarterback threw to the current NFL single season recieving leader? Which quarterback might help his current lead receiver break that single season record? Two very different teams and two very different receivers. One solid quarterback getting it done.

Former Wolverine Ambry Thomas with the interception to end it, 49ers win.

Detroit played tough today. Goff looked good.

Stafford 9 turn overs in the last 4 games. Yikes.

Lions do the same old Lions bit and win when they need to lose. See ya next season.
