2021-22 Lions thread

It's true, one player can't make a difference by themselves. The Lions have wasted a ton of talent over the years. There is no way Goff will survive a season with the beatings that Stafford endured.

Key stats to review... Stafford sacked one time and Mack didn't do it. Goff nailed 3 times for 24 yards while Taylor Decker nurses another boo boo. Hopefully Goff survives the beating that a Lion's QB is expected to take.

I believe the Super Bowl is going to be played in LA?
. How convenient that Staford Is playing there now..
Kinda like how Verlander gets traded to the Astros Pretty much knowing they're going to the World Series

He’s gotta get past #12 first if he wants to be in the super bowl.

You've got to be delusional to not see the difference between the two teams in respect to where they were last season, and this season. :screwy:

Question: when you throw for 350 yards, 4 touchdowns and 0 interceptions while thrashing the previously undefeated, defending SuperBowl Champions feat/Tom Brady… is that considered padding stats?

Literally put such an ass whooping on the Bucs that when the Bucs were offsides on a Rams punt… with 5+ min to go…and the penalty would have put the Rams in field goal range… the Rams declined the penalty to just get the game over with [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

That’s the most Lions way to lose a game. As soon as they lined up for a 66 yard attempt, I told my wife there’s a 95% chance that it will be good. Doesn’t matter if it’s the longest in nfl history. The longest and third longest in history are against the Lions.

Matt Stafford played probably the best game of his career. Mike, I hope he takes them all the way for you. I remember you saying you placed a bet almost immediately on the Rams once the trade was publicized.
