It’s funny... when the Lions lose and somebody says “If they would have done blah blah blah they would have won!” and the haters say “but they didn’t and they lost.” When the Lions win, they say “Well if the *insert losing team here* would have done blah blah blah the Lions would have lost!” Whenever Stafford has a good game and the Lions lose, nobody cares about the stats, just the final score... why is this any different?

Just a quick FYI for those of you who cried about Stafford's contract and when he was the highest paid QB in the NFL.
There are now 4 QBs making more than Stafford. None of those QBs/Teams currently have more wins than Stafford/theLions.
Stafford / Lions 2-3
Garoppolo / 49ers 1-4 (and out of the season)
Cousins / Vikings 2-2
Ryan / Falcons 1-4
Rodgers / Packers 2-2
Just some food for thought.![]()
Lions player of the week was Mason Crosby.
This guy, the life long Stafford apologist.
go lions
Why did you edit your post? You asked how many had playoff wins?
To answer you... Out of the top 5 highest paid QBs, only 2 have playoff wins. Only one has a winning playoff record.
Stafford, along with Garappolo and Cousins have no playoff wins.
Perhaps equally/more relevant....
How many of them came into teams that had won zero games the year before? How many of them were forced to endure 7 years with Matt Millen as their GM?

Boomer Esiason's comments about Stafford were spot on.....
Because I figured it just wasn't worth getting into it with you because you simply just don't get it dude. Keep blowing the guy, I care not.
Nice read!
The run game was definitely the most impressive part of that game. 10 yards per carry average or something like that? Crazy.

It would have to be 10 yards per carry to be more impressive than 18/22, 2 TDs, 0 INTs and a 138 QBR. But yeah, it looked amazing today. Funny what happens when the Lions successfully rush the ball, isn't it? Stafford gets even better.
