OK well I haven't been on here in the past 3 days because of a death in the family. One envelope was sent to my house and needed a signature. I wouldn't be home so I had it sent to my parents house. I personally opened the envelope after they signed for it and it had the 3 sets of tickets for the games. I contacted Jacob and we sent those to his mother in law or whoever the person is with tracking and signature. I do not know how the transaction of plane tickets hotel rooms or gift cards was handled in Texas. If there is a way to track the items then we will be able to find out where they are.

I am following up with you on this because you won't reply to my PMs or email.

We didn't receive the $1000 spending money and our transaction for this deal is not complete until I do so. We followed up and found that Coca-Cola (they told us directly) they sent the gift card to the original winner Mrs. Childers - that is you or your family.

I believe that you are an upstanding member of this community and that you want to make this right but lack of a response on this suggests otherwise.

Please advise how you want to handle this and reply here, to my PMs or my email.

And yes I responded to you last week as soon as I saw the pm. I am not on Motown every day and you have my phone number so don't imply that I am avoiding you.

Hi Scott, I'm sorry to hear of the death in your family.

Plane tickets and hotel arrangements were handled through Jean Daniel and Beth Sibert at the prize coordinator Travel By Design, Inc.

There were no Visa gift cards provided at any point before, during or after the trip to Texas.

We called Beth and she informed us that Coca-Cola sent the cards directly to the original winner (Mrs. Childers).

I sent you an email on April 7 but never received an answer. I sent you a total of three PMs, one on the 6th that you replied to, plus one more on the 6th and another on the 11th, both with no reply. I'm many hours different from you on time zones so calling you at a reasonable time is a challenge with my schedule. I can call you now but that's not going to change our deal.

I hoped that you noticed in my first PM on April 6 that I was requesting that you follow up with the folks at the prize coordinator company (I asked you to do this in every PM and the email). Your only reply was "I sent the envelope that I received and the contents. I don't know how they got the rest of the items.". Frankly speaking, it's up to you to know and provide the rest of our agreement.

I replied to your PM the same day and again asked you to help us get to the bottom of this by contacting Travel By Design, Inc. and have not heard back from you in email or PMs or post here until now. I can post every PM and email I sent if you believe what I am explaining here isn't accurate.

Now that you are here, you should take some action and follow up on the whereabouts of the $1000 worth of Visa gift cards that we have an agreement on. You or Melanie should call Beth.

I have a deal with you, not the prize people. You owe me 1000 dollars and I want it. If it's easier you can Paypal it to me.

I have to go to Dayton tonight and have a funeral tomorrow. I will try to locate the card Monday. If I can not locate it I will do whatever it takes to make it right. My wife handled all of the emails and paperwork on this. I had to sign for the tickets and the card was not in that envelope or it would have been forwarded. I will handle it next week. Right now it is on my list bit it is not my main priority. I have never ripped anyone off on Motown or in my life so don't schedule the public hanging just yet.

Thanks. I do see his point though. I don't know where the card is. I wasn't involved with that part but I'll handle it monday.

No one is "going after him". There is no witch hunt. Jacob has in my eyes a legitimate problem and the communication hasn't been good, and now we know why it hasn't. Scott hasn't and should not lose any reputation here. :thumbup:

ill give scott a huge +1 because ive dealt with him on numerous occasions and never once had a bad experience. im sure he will get this handled

Really, if someone promised you $1,000 I'm sure you would absolutely ask for it. I'm pretty sure the communication started prior to any death in the family, so your comment isn't necessary.
 
No if someone owed me a thousand bucks they would be getting phone calls or text messages not public posts until I absolutely got hosed over. And if i found out they were down and out i would give them space.

I don't know all the details so I didn't comment on their situation but apparently you are in the loop and know whats going on.
 
Oh ya and ive known scott for 25 years and he is a great guy who will help anyone. I know right now that he is down and out a bit so dealing with this drama probably isnt top priority right now

Do you even know the story. He got all of the tickets from a 3rd party. The one package that was sent to me was forwarded to him with tracking and signature. My wife and the compay handled all of that. You act like a judge and jury but you are just ignorant.
 
I don't have time for this. Anyone that wants to run their mouth can expect me to ignore it until Monday after I handle my personal business. Logging out of Motown drama for the weekend. Peace out.
 
Smooth, falcon64, the extra side comments aren't really needed. Scott and Jacob had some communication going now to resolve this and now your sidebar has run him off for the weekend. Way to be counter productive to the situation. Please keep your comments to yourself until after this is resolved.

I am back home. I sent a pm to Jacob asking how he wanted to be paid. I never signed for a card. I can't believe they sent it without requiring a signature but regardless that is my job to find out. There was a delay this week in responding due to family issues but as I said it is taken care of now. I'm not interested in fighting with anyone or ripping anyone off. Thanks for the space Motown. This can be locked or we can wait for Jacob to respond and then lock it.
 
1000 dollars has been sent tonight. I will continue to try to track the card. It was never signed for by anyone at our address.
 
All, Scott and I got in contact and he's taken care of the rest of our arrangement, deal is now complete. Thanks to everyone for the support on all sides. Thanks to Scott for making this right.
