2016 motown muscle events

So what are the events this year?

Picnic? track rental? cruise WW? other cruises/car shows?

I'm down for a picnic.

Also, it would be nice to have a "meeting area" for those who cruise WW or tele or where ever on the weekends. so we can meet up and BS.

Thoughts?
 
We are opening our new Branch on WW at 14 mile 1st/2nd week of April. I plan to hold an open house/car gathering there in late April as soon as the weather warms up and everyone has their cars out. Ill be doing free pizza that night as well.

I would also like to do a Simple mortgage track rental at Milan one day this summer. I will talk a bit more about that when I get some info from Milan.

As far as places to hang out on WW this year, I plan using the parking lot at my office once we are up and going. As long as we keep the noise down, a local officer that I did a mortgage for, told me there should be no issue with the neighbors. My only concern will be, if we start having guys pegging the rev limiter and shit like that in the lot, we could have issues. We have a total of 15 spots that are ours, so there should be enough room for people to come and go most of Fri and Sat nights!!!

As we talked about before, We'll all have to ask them nicely to leave...
 
If anyone is interested in the Flint cruise, I have plenty of room for a few trailers or cars. I'm about 6 miles from Grand Blanc, which is where it begins. That cruise goes from Tuesday to Sunday with the support of the businesses and local police departments. It's pretty good. I obviously drive my car to it.
 
As mention before by someone, we tend to have issues with
trying to get the whole club together for an event, whether
picnic, monthly meetings or parties.

Perhaps several smaller get-togethers might work out better?
One idea that has been floating around is a downriver area / west
side get together. Maybe breakfast or lunch meet up. Maybe at
Cabela’s?

What say you, Toledo, Milan, downriver guys?

Don't forget about the Christmas party. I hemmed and hawed for years about going because I don't like situations where I don't know anyone. Everyone I met was very friendly and I had a great time. I'll be a regular from now on.

Great idea, I think this could work well. Hell, I think a Westland/Garden City get together would be a decent sized group.

And I'm quite sure everyone will respect your place! If not, the motown police will take care of it.
 
Lol. Sounds good. I'm always up to welcome Everyone I can. I wish it was a auto shop and not a mortgage company. Lol. I'd love to hang out inside the place, but with the compliance laws, it's hard to make it a lounge, ya know. At least we have a lot and bathroom!!!
 
I'm open to whatever you guys are interested in, all I ask is that someone else can support me and help with putting them together. Luckily I never have to work anymore weekends, so only thing I'd have going on is personal stuff.

We can always setup a "range day" as there are a few members around here padding there safe's with new toys, as well as i can bring some fun goodies to play with....
