I don't think it's time to fire Caldwell. This team has all the talent of a 5-11 team, yet they went 9-7 and made the playoffs. They way over achieved. Caldwell isn't the best, but for where the Lions are right now he will do. If they ever get some real talent he'll need to be replaced as I don't think he's the guy to take them to the next level. At least keep him through next season while Quinn keeps building.

He did make some terrible game managing and clock managing decisions this season that hurt them.
 
Interesting fact: the last time the lions won a playoff game on the road was in 1957! At the 49ers. Chew on that one for a bit before you down the kool aid!
 
I think it will be closer than a lot of people think. Seattle isn't the team they use to be. They rank similar in a lot of categories to the Lions.

I'd say they lose by 10.

Money pit, you just described the lion's as well....But throw in no run game to speak of....And on the road where noise will be a factor.

...and, as I'm sure you just saw, Richardson hooked Wilson's face mask bigtime. Another blown call by the officials and it cost the Lions 7 points....
