2016 Lions thread........discuss or discust?

I am extremely disappointed in Stafford's performance. I don't know what he was thinking putting linebackers on Jordy Nelson. His defensive playcalling was terrible. I really don't think he's cut out for this league when he cannot make the necessary play calls to stop Aaron Rodgers. Perhaps it's time for Stafford to just play quarterback instead of running the defense as well.
 
PS. For the record, Justin... when you say "Pad Statford" over and over again and you think it's funny, but everybody else just kinda cringes, it's very reminiscent of another forum member who does something similar with terms like "skunkbears" and "walmart wolverines". Just something to ponder.
 
Cool story bro. Tell us more about how Staffords awesome QBR has helped the Lions win numerous playoff games the 8 years, or maybe how it helped negate that INT to Perrish Cox when it mattered against the colts.

He is Pad Statford. He puts up awesome stats against teams in garbage time, in garbage games that don't matter. I'm happy he gives you meanless numbers to come on here to defend him with when the only thing that matters is W's and L's.
 
I did like seeing him screaming and yelling at his recievers to get out of bounds against Indy. Good to see that fire from him.

You must have missed the part where I reminded you that Stafford currently leads all active QBs in 4th quarter comebacks.
 
That was baaaaaaaad... Had Stufford on my Fanduel team.. I should of just put the cash in my cats litter box and let her piss and shit on it (would of been more entertaining to watch)
 
a quarter of a billion dollars, is what the Lions will have into stafford after they sign the new contract and what to show for it? Tebow has more playoff wins

:lol: Oh right I forgot. Don't worry they'll rattle off 5 wins in row when it doesnt matter and we will hear more about how great his QBR is.

What *matters* is two INT's now this season when it mattered most.
