2016 Lions thread........discuss or discust?

I might be wrong so please discount double check me...
Aaron Rodgers, last six games
14 touchdowns, 0 interceptions
Stafford 4 Touch frowns
4 interfuckups...
Aaron Rodgers, last 10 games
26 touch downs
3 interceptions
matty 12 Touch frowns
5 fuckups

CLEARLY any idiot can see that Stufford is the elite one!

Which team has a better record over those last 10 games?

Are you now of the opinion that personal stats are more important than Wins and Losses? Because that would be a different opinion than previously expressed.

How's this for an interesting fact.... Ezekiel Elliot leads the NFL with 1634 yards rushing. The Lions leader? Theo Riddick with 357.

True of False... Stafford's drop in production directly coincides with a dislocated finger on his throwing hand?

False. His production is measured by W's and L's and he never wins big games. There is no denying it.

But he has yet another shot to shut all the "haters" up again next week. By blowing the last two in a row the Lions have turned Sunday nights game into a playoff game.

True or false, big Ben in 2011 fractured his thumb on his throwing hand, lost in the Superbowl. 2013 big Ben broke a finger on his throwing hand, still won the division. A drop in production is expected, but going from your "MVP" candidate to a bum overnight, isn't.

The answer to your question is, draft for the future. He isn't worth the money he will be looking for. He isn't taking you anywhere, and guess what, either is a 1 mil a year rookie either. But at least you can use the money and build elsewhere. And maybe get lucky...But then again it is the lion's and you can't trust them to tie their shoes right...

And no, there is no comparing big Ben to Dumbford...And I'm not doing that. I gave you an example...

False.

The 2011 the Steelers lost their wildcard game.

The 2013 the Steelers finished second in the AFC North and missed the playoffs.

The 2012 Steelers finished third in their division and missed the playoffs and 2014 Steelers lost in the first round of the playoffs as well, in case you were looking at other years

You aren't very good at this

The Steelers have won one playoff game and one conference title since 2011 with a QB that most would put in their Top 3 over those years. Hmmmm.....

Lions

False.... all I keep hearing from the announcers how "Stafford finger has no effect in his throwing game"
Played a hell of 1/2 against the Cowboys then the wheels blew out of the Lions Bus... If they bring that Bus into Ford Field Sunday, the boo's are gonna be heard around the world.. Caldwell will kiss his job goodbye.

This shit again? Trade him and draft a QB? I'll ask again, do you watch football? Name a decent QB coming out for the 2017 draft without Googling, I dare you. This is the worst QB class in 10 years and considering how bad 2016s class was, that's saying something. I see you're going with the LA Rams (pay attention, dline, they are the LA Rams, not St Louis) strategy. That is really working out well, as their number 1 overall pick, Jared Goff, couldn't beat out Case Keenum for the job and was only given the starting job because the fans were screaming for it. He's 0-6 as a starter, by the way.

Yeah, trade away the most prolific passer in NFL history through his first 100 games, a guy who's been in the top 5 in QBR all season, a potential MVP candidate.... for a chance to "get lucky" on a terrible QB draft class.

This makes a lot of sense.

Wait, you're name isn't Matt is it? Maaaatt.... Millen?! Hey, we have Matt Millen on Motown!

Where did Dallas find their fabulous rookie quarterback?

Where did Dallas find their fabulous rookie quarterback?

In the fifth round, I believe... Tom Brady went in the 6th...which just validates my point that even the very well paid professionals are wrong more than they are right when it comes to QBs in the draft. Again, I have proven this by posting a list of the last 50 QBs to be drafted in rounds 1 and 2 and the vast majority are either complete busts or guys who lasted a few years and put up nothing. There are about 10 out of 50 still playing and 7-8 starting. That's not a good success ratio.

Trading away a guy who is generally considered a Top 10 QB by any NFL analyst, writer, etc.... to get a crapshoot pick at a terrible QB class is just fucking asinine thinking. When Andrew Luck was entering the draft, he was seen as the closest thing ever to a sure thing, NFL ready QB we had ever seen. And yeah, he's been pretty average and trails Stafford in just about every category.

This draft pick line of thinking really is the dumbest thing in the entire thread

Yep that happens when theres a good team surrounding a rookie (lions are another case) , what does big ben have to do with your love of stafford and needing to find a life outside of this thread? You know where you are out of your element.

sorry to hear this is such an important part of your life, you dig up post after post argument after argument for overpaid people playing some sport

and yet... here you are, still failing. In one breath you try to lay blame for Lion's losses at Stafford feet, babbling about rookie QBs... and in the next, when I point out one of the best QBs in the league losing an important game to a team with a rookie under center, it because all about the team and not the QB. Please decide which argument you are going with and stick with it.

Got a feeling the Giants gonna beat the Redskins and just like how lucky the lions been all season, they'll get backed door into the playoffs... They'll still lose against Green Bay...... JMO
