2015 Silverado for under 200 a month, Would you drive a chevy ?

So i ended up picking up a truck today i got a 2015 Silverado 4x4 V8 4 door, all the bells and whistles for 240 a month 500 down for 2yrs 12k miles. I wasnt able to get the GM employee discount from anyone or else it would have been cheaper. Figured that was a pretty good deal. I wanted a F150 but i didnt think they could come close to that price

That's a deal....A month ago I got a 2015 Z71 Custom Sport Edition and the best deal I could get was $340..sign and drive 24 months/12k miles. Salesman gave me supplier discount along with my military/police discount.

Where at?

Damn, I just leased an Escape because the F150 was to expensive. I looked at the Chevy leases a month or so ago and they were no where near that good so bummed right now.

What kills me is that all the great lease deals have such low mileage attached to them. I would look into leasing if I weren't driving 25K/year.

I am paying a bit more. $270/mo, put $270 down... V8, 4 door, 4wd, with max towing package. I plan to buy it when the lease is up anyways.

I also got mine just before some of these deals started. I got mine RIGHT before the 2016 was revealed. So now that that has happened GM wants them out and the 2015s gone from dealer lots.

That's how I got the deal on my Charger... restyled 2015s were right around the corner. $0 down, $220/mo for a Charger R/T

With GM and Ram giving their trucks away they still can't touch Ford. Trust me I'd love a $250 a month F-150 to sell, but the truth of the matter is all GM and Ram are doing is buying market share (failing) and screwing the resale value of their vehicles. I know most of us here don't give a shit about resale since this market is soooo heavily slanted towards leasing, but it does make a difference in the long run. If you look at the numbers after 5yrs a Ford is in the high 40%, GM is in the low 40's and Ram is in the high 30's.

This is a great site for info

How can you not be impressed with an 8 speed? Made these things lots quicker

At low rpm standard "around town" driving, it holds first and second gear too long, shifts very clumsily, etc. Moderate acceleration onto highways or passing, it's totally unsure of what gear to go to or how long to hold it.

Full throttle or cruise control engaged = it's fine. Anything requiring "thinking" it sucks.

I haven't noticed any of those issues with the 8 speed. It could be because most of my driving is at wot or crusing lol
