Insurance companies are gonna have a field day with the rates on this truck, before you buy call your agaent this will not be a cheap or easy car to fit after a accident

yup my bet is panel replacement only insurance co replaced the hood on my 98 F150(because it was aluminum) for 3 hail stone dings
 
Just Saw these in person at the Auto show I was going to purchase a New F-150 Limited or Plat. But Now after seeing them Im waiting to get a 2015 The Fuel Milage gain will pay for the Insurance Im sure lol. They have not released any thing yet but a Buddy did testing on some for ford and says they were pulling 25-28mpg out of them in Warm Testing in AZ But the hood were sealed with no latch on the inside to open it, so they do not know what eng. was in the things he said they Ran well and pulled a loaded Trailer well also. Its was a turbo engine thats about all he knows as they didnt give to much info to them.
Looks wise they do look nice and the Interiors are about the same as the current trucks. Per Ford Pricing will Remain about the same also.
 
I love it. I like my 2013 better I think. Im glad they finally BEEFED the front end body up tho. I cant wait to see a 2016 Raptor. I have seen a rendering of a Reg cab lowered short wheelbase Lightening styled 2015...

I am impressed with the 3.5 TT ecoboost. Its power and torque is the same as my 6.0 powerstroke was but gets better mileage. I can only imagine what a +15 will get.

True dat my friend. I mentioned this to a guy on the launch team at work about the "what if" paint issues. He had a look on his face like hmmm maybe this was not discussed during the launch. I'd know there having a cpl problems in the paint department here at DTP regarding the new truck. Its gonna be a whole new system there gonna be doin cause the aluminum body, there's a left side drivers door from the 2015 truck by my job in the trim department. That thing is super light
 
They have got past the aluminum paint issues, the current f150s have aluminum hoods and they haven't been falking off after 5 years like the older gen f150s and expeditions

Probably be record sales on these trucks

Me and another guy lifted a long bed to about shoulder height and carried it.... Lol.

I know man I couldn't believe how light the door was, it was just bare with nothing on. But wow, where'd you pick up the bed? Are you on the rouge or pilot plant?
