That ass end is horrendous. Its the bastard child of a crossfire and a Camaro.

The front end looks tough. side profile makes my neck itch a little. back end...fuck!

Also shows what a non-Z51 model looks like, without the full-width spoiler and the vents on the tops of the rear fenders, as well as with slightly smaller wheels.
 
i spent alot of time staring at it yesterday, and i dont think the rear end looks all that bad in person, i really liked the car
 
The rear definitely was not as big a deal in person. I think people will get over it, unless they are a just die-hard pissed about the passing resemblance to the Camaro tails. I would have preferred the red car being on the ground though. I thought the front end grille and the two little protrusions were more objectionable than the rear.

i dislike those as well, it looks like a ricey front lip someone got from ebay. would look much cleaner with a smooth front edge on the bumper.
 
Jalopnik has some other images of the car on public roads. Tails look Firebird-esque from a distance. Roof would look better painted but. I like the A pillar being blacked out. Its grown on me since the unveil.
 
I seen it in person at the show and I'm shocked, absolutely shocked, at how FUGLY it actually is! I can't believe engineers at GM even remotely thought they did a good job. I am so fucking glad I got a C6! The damn thing looks disproportioned, rear end is too big and ugly as fuck! Wow am I disappointed.
