GM just sucks now with the exception of Cadillac. Their design group can't do a thing without it being a remake or ripping off of someone else.
 
I'm looking forward to seeing he whole car and hearing all the stats. Competition is more fierce than ever so I can't imagine this car having everything thrown at it. I want stats and tomorrow we get them!
 
Im liking the side profile of the car but that's where it ends.. ive always thought you could get a lot more car for the money when you're not paying for that "corvette" name
 
I'm thinking the new base model could almost be C6 Z06 quick. I keep hearing how the emphasis is on weight reduction plus power. That's a good combo!

I would have to agree here, we always get in the new cars, many not even released yet where I work, (like a piecemeal 2015 Mustang currently) and I have to say, as a kid, and well into my adult life I had this vision of the Corvette being the "end all" until the Coyote was released and got to go for a spin in a Vette, then the new, at-the-time Coyote Mustang. Talk about a MAJOR let down from the Corvette. I've never felt so let down on something that I grew up with this image in my head just to find out it was not even close to what I had envisioned all these years.

I sure hope they come up with a better Flagship than they did with the re-release of the Camaro. Before you blast me, I have owned 3 4th gen F-bodies, and a 2nd gen currently, but this new one is just hideous! Let's hope the Vette doesn't follow suit....

A lot of manufacturers look similar on competitive models because they're all battling for aerodynamics and the most effective shapes will ultimately influence design in sports cars of the future.

I just can't believe those retards got rid of the signature round tail lights. They give it a Camaro rear end, when the worst part about the Camaro is the rear end??
