2014 Corvette on Craigslist

In other news, car detailer Mikey G was found dead at his detailing shop in Omaha. He was found, apparently gagged with a mouth full of Turtle Wax and with a chamois shoved into his rectum.

Why does a brand new car need to be detailed? I'm pretty sure the dealer does a great job on new car prep

Some people don't like the dealers touching their cars. We've had Vette's trailered out of here and taken to a detailling shop to be wetsanded and buffed. Unfortunately as well, we just use your normal washing methods, swirl marks and all.

 some people have more money than sense

I'm pretty sure Mike G was on the Omaha forum back in the day. I've posted this on facebook to confirm. Facebook status could get interesting if its the same guy.

I was told via someone on facebook that he posted on the 1320 video forum denying the Corvette was him. My facebook thread has also gained the attention of someone's car he did wreck though, so there is that. The other car is a 350Z.

Cars leave the factory with sanding marks, swirls, holograms etc. A lot of dealers use dirty wash media and dry with bath towels.

All depends on the dealer too. If you buy it from average chevy dealer, then you're going to get crap detailing. If you get it from a Chevy Dealer that caters to the corvette crowd, then you will have a much better experience. I bought my C5 new from Cauley Chevrolet. The car was in awesome condition. Heck, it was parked in the showroom when I went to pick it up and they let me drive it out. Unfortunately Cauley is no longer around. If I were to buy another vette in the future, I would do the NCM Delivery.
