2014 chevy silverado

Chevy looks awful. Parts of the interior look like afterthoughts (like the trailer control). GMC truck is sharp, but still too conservative of a redesign.

The front end of the Silverado looks like the Wagon Queen Family Truckster. Now I see why they have 245k trucks sitting on lots.

The reason they have 240,000 trucks in inventory is the new one isn't going on sale until August/September of 2013. They have all the inventory so they can shut the plant down and do a change over, and begin a slow workup of the next model so they don't have any production/recall issues.

Let me see the SS with a 6.2 LSA and we can talk :)

What did you want to talk about ?

I don't hate it. I like the Fan Blade style GMC wheels. Reminds me of the Lariat 20" wheels.

That's not the only reason.

I genuinely think that GM has some of the worst looking cars on the road. This isn't terrible, however, I think it'd look better if it had square wheels.

/hater

I like both of them, but the GMC is a little cleaner. GM got a lot of complaints about the current trucks not having enough chrome, if you compare the 08-10's and the 2011+ you'll see they added a lot of chrome to the front end. I think they went overboard on the bling, but it sells to the masses.
I leased my 13 so I can get into one of these in 21 months and 21 days.. not that I'm counting. I like my '13, but want the new 5.3L, and that's all I'm saying about that.

Mike spill it........i heard that nothing with the new LT1 motors will interchange with the LS......is this true ?

Not much. Almost everything was tweaked a little or a lot. The changes are more significant than GenIII-GenIV, almost as much as GenII-GenIII. I moved onto a different engine program 3 years ago, but from what I remember off the top of my head is a significant list of changes. Look at the new LT1 Corvette pics, then look at an LS3. A lot of the changes start to become more obvious.

These articles are pretty accurate, I found 3 incorrect items, but it's not bad. http://www.superchevy.com/technical...testing/sucp_121025_gen_five_lt1_small_block/
