2014 - 15 Lions Discussion Thread

Stafford gets sacked constantly, receivers drop catchable throws constantly but the first thing everyone says is "Stafford sucks!" With the offensive and dropped balls he is getting, not many quarterbacks could win. He overthrows and underthrows way too much, but there have been a TON of critical catches that were just blown by receivers all season long.

He hangs on to the ball way to long....can't read defenses....just looks lost alot.....

How about that slide on 4th and 10.....LOL

Yeah he sucks....

Dropped due to bad throws. And many that were behind the receivers......

He's horrible.

Really, guess I was watching a different game.

Stafford is average at best, but come on multiple passes hit the receivers in the numbers those are catches any decent player makes. Ebron should have caught 2 or 3 and others were right through the hands. There were 3 or 4 dropped TD passes.

I am not saying Stafford is anything special but this loss was not on him.

This is a game the lions were never going to win, but you cant blame this one on one player.

Offense all around sucked yesterday... First game ever I can think of with Megatron having a shitty game...

then you are forgetting pretty much every year. He always has 1 to 2 games a year where he gets 15 yards and no touchdowns or something bad like that.

Eleven might be the magic number of wins when it comes to the Detroit Lions and the playoffs.

The Lions fell out of first place in the NFC North for the first time since September with Sunday's 34-9 loss to the New England Patriots, and if the postseason started today, they'd be on the outside looking in.

One of three NFC teams with a 7-4 record, the Lions would lose a three-team tiebreaker for the final wild-card spot to the Seattle Seahawks, based on their records against common opponents.

Seattle is 4-0 in games against the Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers, New York Giants and Green Bay Packers, while the Lions are 2-2, with losses at Arizona and Carolina.

The Lions have one of the easiest schedules remaining of any team in the NFL, but they might need to win four of their final five games to leapfrog the Seahawks in the standings.

Their next four games are against teams with losing records -- the first three of them at home -- but with a game in Green Bay to end the year, the Lions don't have any room for error the next month.

But not the first game that Stafford has had a shitty game. 0-16 on the road against teams with a winning record. I'll take my $20 now please. :)

The Lions are good, they arent great. They arent elite. They can beat shitty teams at home. They can beat shitty teams on the road. They can't beat really good teams on the road. The are mediocrity at it's finest.

Impressed by what? Stafford's inept play? His focus on throwing it to Calvin and praying he can jump his way to catch a bad throw?

I'm not a Stafford fan by any means. Never have been.
This was a game they couldn't afford to lose. Stafford streak does continue of winning against sub 500 teams. Lol

Stafford makes me cringe ever game....I just don't feel confidence in him at all.

They looked like garbage today, it was very bad!

But... currently number 2 seed in the NFC, granted that wont last.

Going to come down to the last game of the season.
