Starting a new thread Per Wizeguy's request :)

Let's start the bitching and crazy predictions. Crash had a double serving of the Kool Aid with his 13-3 prediction...
 
If they do any better than 9-7 I will be thrilled.
If Schwartz was still there, I would be expecting more.

Why thank you YLWFVR! Not much will change with the Lions this year because the main drive of this team (IMO) sucks... "What about all his NFL records Sal!?" Since 2009, how many playoffs did the Lions play in? Shall I ask about Super Bowls? 0, zilch, nada, not one... Take those records Stafford has and put them in a bong and smoke them cause they didn't mean shit at the end of the day. (Except his big ole fat 50 million dollar paycheck)
Wiki his stats, 2009-2013 his completed passes has gone down, pass % have gone down, passing yards have been falling too, pass interseptions have skyrocketed, 2011 5 fumbles, 2012 - 6 fumbles, 2013 -12 fumbles! His true stats are getting worse not better as the years go by.
He should be kissing Megatrons ass at the end of every game for over/under throwing those bricks to him.
I gotta do some homework and see the teams there playing before making a prediction but I can say is, you can lead a Fool to wisdom but you can't make him think.
 
2014 - 15? The last regular season game is December 28. Why did a thread get started to cover two seasons? Don't we normally just do one season at a time on these things? I request that a mod drop the 15 from the thread title.

8-8 sounds reasonable to me looking at the schedule.

General fan and local media sentiments at various points of the season
After week 3: Doom and gloom following 1-2 start
After week 6: Super Bowl contender sitting at 4-2
Bye week on: Mediocrity, can't win games that matter, the team is full of bums.
 
Stafford will be the holdup once again this season. As much as I'm a fan for the Lions, the schedule isn't an easy one, a new coach and Stafford sucking once again will lead them to 7-9. The only thing good this season will be Suh because he wants a big contract when he hits free agency. Dan I wish I could drink the look-aide with you but I have no faith in this team from what they showed the last few years. They had no drive, no willingness to fight for wins. They really have looked like image.jpg
