WOW.

Saw one with "M" plates on Woodward in Pontiac in "the loop".

I thought the Ford GT was Sex on wheels (which it is) but the new SRT Viper is Pure Sex on wheels. That thing is bad ass in every aspect!

WOW!

Oh Chrysler the ones that have different body styles but yet every vehicle has the same boring front end. Chrysler will always be in last place. C7 will outsell the viper.

Well, obviously the C7 will and that makes it boring to me. I don't get excited seeing corvettes.

Id take a viper over a Vette anyday and I'm more of a Chevy guy then a Mopar one. Corvettes are nothing special, just a plane jane two seater with 4 taillights, a big motor and brakes.

At least with a viper I don't see two or three of them every time i go somewhere, and if I wanted to go as fast a Vette goes I'd get a new shelby mustang and take the family along with me.

This new viper is still growing on me. I havent seen one in person yet so not sold on it but I can tell you I hate the hood line right in the middle of the side fenders.

The new Viper is bad ass! The C7 has me a bit nervous. Dodge stepped it up big time with the Viper. While it will not outsell the Corvette no matter what, it is way more exotic looking than it was. I loved the old one too but this blows it out of the water.

My comparison wasn't a base vette to a viper. I was comparing a ZR1 to a viper. ZR1's are very rare on the street. And to say it has less horsepower than a mustang is a big joke because it only has 2 less horse power than the viper. Also I agreed in my first post I like the viper looks. It's chryslers quality and dependability that I don't care for.

I see ZR1's everyday, but I live in Milford where the proving grounds are.

Also, there is no DODGE Viper, it is simply the SRT Viper. and it's badass.

In rereading my last post I may eat my words a little bit.

I am a corvette fan in general. Love them pre '67 and when done right 96-current are nice but a viper is more of a "rare supercar" Then a middle-upper class daily driver
sports car. Of course they will outsell vipers, they are more practical and more affordable and as long as GM builds corvettes people will buy them.

Not saying a zr1 stacks up against a viper in performance is a lie but the zr1 is still just a dressed up corvette and doesn't have the "wow" factor a viper does as far as styling and has a motor unique to that car only. Not just a variation of a motor used in multiple cars. I take the viper because if I'm dropping that kind of loot on a new ride I want it to stand out. You know how many times I've said "ooh is that a zr1" then get close and see its a GS or a jazzed up Z. And im a car guy who knows what to look for. View it from the common person who doesnt know what variant they are looking at.
When you see a viper you know it's a viper.
