if I had a vehicle that got 47mpg I would go up north once a month as opposed to once a year. 12mpg makes me cry
 
I drove one of these at work and was impressed with leg room and head room and I am 6'4" myself. There is plenty of room for the driver. The MPG indicator when vehicle is in electric mode pegs the meter at 60mpg plus!


How is fitment for the over 6'4" driver?
 
I'm one of the head Poveout Tecs for CMAX and I got to say I don't like small cars but once ou drive one the don't fell that small inside. And for what it is it goes pretty good too.
 
I;m not trying to rain on the Cmax parade but is there any truth to the Cmax being one of Fords' worst debut model launches? I heard from some people that work at Wayne assembly and they said these cars were first piled up on lots due to a parts shortage for some minuscule windshield trim piece . Then I heard that they have been taking these Cmax's to Roush by the hundred for some type of pre-delivery repairs? Just curious as I have a family member interested.

I have heard the same thing, which is why someone I know is working crazy OT, to fix shit, but you know what, shit happens, just don't buy the first years model...

They are not going out to Roush for the minor repair work being done! Just like any other launch there are some ups and downs. It is a whole new animal for the plant to build and there has been a big learning curve for everyone but it is rolling down the line with the base,ST and the Bev.
