So, they have 20% discount on some new Camaro's right now,and I wouldn't mind upgrading to a new one with magnetic ride. My car is bone stock, never been to the track. There is nothing wrong with it. I have had a few things fixed in warranty over the years, including a brand new convertible top in July (actually installed at Shelby Trim through Rinke Chevrolet). The wheels and front Badge are plasti-dipped flat black. The wheels could use a touch-up because I just had the rears replaced and there are some light bare spots around the flange. I have a couple uninstalled mods, too, that I will throw in (tonneau cover, windscreen, floor mats, and a factory NPP exhaust that would need to be welded on). It is a six speed manual and has about 42,000 miles on it. I bought it new.

This ad is valid through January 4. At that point I will either trade the car in or keep it.

I haven't been looking at these cars lately but this sounds like a good deal. GLWS Geoff!

Thanks, yea, retail is $24k but I understand the realities of selling in Michigan this time of year. I love the car, but I can get almost $14k off a new one right now.

Got a new 2016 - 2SS convertible, 8 speed auto, magnetic ride, dual mode exhaust, HUD, bose stereo, and nav. And it still gets stuff like heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel. Got it almost $15k off sticker. The car is unbelievable, and the magnetic ride quality is beyond any description I could type in here. Plus they are unbelievable fast - guys are running 11's with a few bolt-ons. The only downside - it is probably going to spend the next three months in the garage. Still worth it though.

What did you get for your trade? I have an 11 2SS vert and have been thinking of getting a new one too.

They gave me NADA trade value - $17.5k, which I was pretty happy with. I only have a couple extra parts. I think I have floormats (and weathertechs), windscreen, and I haven't decided if I am going to give them the tonneau cover yet (it wasn't in the car when they appraised it). The rest is still stock. I have an NPP exhaust off a ZL1 that I never installed, if you are interested in a winter project (it needs fab work plus a vacuum source plus wiring for the NPP to work).

I could use the floor mats, Tonneau cover and Windscreen for sure, GM just replaced my top (for the second time) and carpeting.
if you had a shop in mind to do the exhaust maybe. but it's nothing I'm going to do myself.
