After 5 months of waiting I finally picked up my 2011 Shelby on Monday. Its a no option coupe in Race Red. First Mustang I have owned. I have been a Camaro owner for the last 17 years. All I can say is this car is just plain nasty.

Car is bad ass! I'm not a red car guy but that thing is dead sexy in that shade with black stripes. With the improvements in the 2011 I sometimes wish I would have waited but I've enjoyed my 2010 for a full year now.

You will love it! Congrats!
 
sweet, nice to see they didnt ship the 11's with the skinny stripes. this may be the first red one ive seen. looks good
 
Thanks guys.

My first mod will be tires, I hope one of the DR manufacturers comes out with a 19" DR. I may change the wheels if tire options don't open up. After that I have to see what others do with the new engine before I make any other decisions. I can see long tubes with high flow cats in my future as well.

19" choices right now are zip but I too am hoping someone steps up because the stockers look great. I went to 18" and the tall DR.
