2011 Regal...NOM NOM!

They only dropped the AWD for the GS, still available on the CXL turbo. I've driven several 182 and 220 hp awd versions, they feel a lot like an A4, powertrain and interior.

I'm with everyone else, would love to see the Opel version come over asap, would be the wifes DD tomorrow.

Nice to see they finally ditched the 3 portholes on the fender. That was cool---- 30+ yrs ago. Looked like warmed over ass on the later models tho.

I'm with you on that - I'm real tired of fender vents.
Aside from that, it looks nice... but bland. That's not a bad thing; Lexus has been doing it for years. It's not a bad exterior design, but it certainly one to "offend noone" which works perfect for GM IMHO, as that is Caddy's job (to be edgy and such).
Interior looks very nice, but I'll wait to comment further until I see one in person. I agree with a first page comment about wanting to see it in Black/Blue/anything that stands out a little more.

You say you drove CXL Turbo with AWD? Hmm, every time I try to "build my own" on buicks website the only thing that comes up is FWD.

Looks like a pretty cool car.

FYI Chad, you don't have to get two-toned interior on the Sport.

So you bitch about the Malibu then go get another Gm. You think they are designed by different engineers?

At least you wouldn't have to pull the front clip to change a light bulb.

FYI Chad you don't have to pull the front clip to change the headlights in a Fusion Sport ;)

I think it's a good looking car.
BUT I think the Taurus takes the cake. And if you want boost V6 AWD it answers there also.

I don't know if the turbo AWD is available to the public yet. I did this at work over at the tech center one day. I do know if it isn't available yet, when production is moved to Oshawa this spring then it should be around then. Until then, its just a matter of what we get on the boat from across the pond.

It may not be an option just yet.

Yeah, what he said. ;)

Haha, yea Tony, we should arrange our next drives to be the same day and race each other around the whole complex. No cops to interfere! Loser buys BWWs dinner. :)

Seriously though, the car feels really nice, but avoid the N/A motor. For a car that feels great in a sport lux way, the thrashy non turbo motor feels totally out of place in the Regal. I mean, sitting in it, the interior has better feeling materials than most anything under $50k (CTS included), then that 4 banger revs up and its clear that it is trying way too hard. Its not that its slow, just thrashy and something a Honda or Chevy buyer could deal with, but not a Buick buyer. Stick with the 220hp turbo or the 255 GS turbo and it will feel like a nice german car all around.

255HP for a "GS" is pathetic, whoever made the decision to drop the 2.8 Turbo and AWD should be shot repeatedly :\
