2011 LOLions predictions

I think that late hit call was BS and don't feel too bad about the pick because they should have been punting anyways. If Stafford's finger is so bad then put Hill in.

They look like total shit. I dropped a F bomb in front of my kids and I never swear around them,so pissed right now

With the special teams as bad as they, I don't understand why they even kick to the punt returners.
well if the kicker was not 100 years old he could kick it to the back of the end zone, logan dont have a chance cause it goes out of the end zone , hanson barely makes

I cannot comprehend how different a team can be from one half to another. I knew they outscored opponents in the 2nd half by the biggest margin in the NFL but I wonder how far they are ahead of the 2nd place team.

That Stafford sure does suck. Busted finger and only throws 5 TDs? Pssshhhaaw.

he has shown a lot of improvement this season. even played with a busted ankle a couple weeks ago. sure wish they played like this last week.

At least this years Thanksgiving game will actually mean something. It could be the most important game of the season imo

I don't think he ever sucked but his finger seemed to kill his accuracy for about 6 quarters. Then magically it's fine and he's firing bullets again. Just crazy.

Well I guess last week he was using sticky receiver gloves, and this week he was wearing Kyle Vanden Bosch's gloves. :icon_lol:

I just think it's funny how people in Detroit have had many of the worst football teams ever, and then when they get a decent team that plays hard with alot of star position players, people can't wait to shit all over them. Stafford isn't Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers, but he's got a cannon, can make short throws, and plays his ass off. He's top 10 in passer rating and yards, and top 5 in TDs. He's been playing with a busted finger. The fact that people would compare Matt Stafford with Denard Robinson is beyond ridiculous. He has one of the better ratios of TD/INT and that includes an abhorrent game where his accuracy was screwy because of injury. Oh, and did I mention he's 23 years old and leading a 7-3 team? But hey, maybe we can get a real player like Charlie Batch or John Kitna to get back in here.

I said the team would be 9-7 because they have a tough schedule this year. They are 7-3 and look like they'll finish 9-7 or 10-6 playing in a tough division with a team that could go perfect.

I dont think it is the case of waiting to shit on them, just people being cynical because of the recent history of this team. The one thing that concerns me is they can beat up on Carolina and KC, Denver, etc but what happens when they play good teams liek Atlanta, Chicago, and SF.. I still think they get a Wildcard, but I don't know that they can win against some fo the better teams in the league.

They were in SF and ATL game despite playing terribly.

Looking forward to Turkey Day for the 1st time in 10 years.

skipping ahead from all the other comments. I was watching ESPN the other night and they said the last time the Packers had a start like this, the Lions were the only ones to beat them. The Pack still went on to win the superbowl though. Hopefully history repeats itself. If our boys came out like they did earlier against carolina in the first half, they are pretty much screwed. If they play hard the entire game, we have a chance. Heads gotta be in the game from the start of the first quarter until the clock hits zero in the fourth quarter if not overtime.

Best offense in the league on a collision course with one of the best defenses in the league....

Should be epic.
