A very optimistic 5-11 for the QB made of glass and the Detroit LOLions.

Carolina Panthers as a Loss? What have they done so far to make you think they will be any better than last year, they were terrible and will continue to be.

Seems premature to make predictions before free agent signings have taken place.

They play the Lions later in the season, Stafford will be hurt by then, and they now have Cam Newton. I understand your point, and you're probably right, but hey, it's the Lions we're talking about.

Actually, they will win those and split with Chi and GB this year. Man Mountain Suh will win one game all by himself to be determined by him while on the way to a 15 sac season.

That combined with the proper treatment of the BYE as a win... and we get 9 "winning weeks" out of a 17 week season. :D

Ah yes, the bye week. Always the highlight of any Lions fan. All the excitement of the NFL season, with out the depression that comes with a crushing loss.

Actually, if Stafford survives Tamba Hali from KC, Jared Allen from MIN and DeMarcus Ware from DAL in the first four games, he will survive the full season this time. :) Clay Mathews for GB won't get to him this year and Charles Johnson for CAR is one hit wonder. :)

I'm drinking this Kool Aid right now. I might even go one better on that, though I might mix up the wins and losses a little bit.. If we were betting bans on the above or below 500 again, I might even join the above 500 side of it.

Suh and Fairley together will be scary for opposing offenses.

Im saying 6-10, but this could change due to FA.

I don't suppose you'd be willing to wager a steak dinner on them making the playoffs?

I'm going with 8-8, with them being 8-5 before losing the last three games. Without knowing how free agency works out, a case can be made for anywere between 6-10 to 10-6.
