Cool, 11 wins in the pathetic 10 confrence!

x2 lol. I really think VT had that catch I cant believe they overturned it, I didnt see "undisputed" evidence at all.

Michigan got some really big breaks that game, The VT D played very good and shut down Denard big time.

Well, It looked like the ground helped him retain possession. A similar play on the INT was over turned earlier in the game. At least they were consistent.

It could have gone either way. I really wasn't sure it was going to get over turned.

I will say this, it's awesome that MSU and Michigan were both really good this year. Seeing both teams win in OT is great for football in this state. I'm glad sparty pulled it off for the big 10.

I agree, but to overturn the call I thought it had to be "undisputable" or "clear as day" which it was not.... whatever, it was a great game to watch.

He already has, numerous times. He's thrown a lot of INT's this season. I'm amazed we had the season we did with him passing the ball.

But teams have to respect his running ability. When Michigan spreads it out a little the other teams have to keep 7 or 8 in the box and it leaves one on one coverage and mismatches over the middle. It's not pretty, but it's been working.

When he can set his feet, go through his check downs and throw he's not bad, like the one TD pass he had to Hemmingway in the middle of the endzone. That just doesn't happen a whole lot.

Yup.

I honestly think had they made him a running back and kept Forcier around and groomed him it would have been a good combination of a pocket passer that had good accuracy with a little long haired Barry Sanders (no, he's not as good as Barry, but I don't know who else to compare him too as far as not being able to get grabbed on too)...

This comment cracks me up, unless UM was gonna just run jet sweeps and runs out of the spread option he would be a horriable RB. Reason he is so good is they will spread the field out and he can find gaps and holes and make teams pay with his speed. Just wouldnt work out as a RB. Maybe a slot reciever that would be used as a situational RB.

You seriously just discredited anything you've said about Michigan football up to this date with that comment. Keep Tate Forcier? Really? Jesus Christ.

And Denard wouldn't be that great of a RB. He needs open field for his style of running, which is created because he's the quarterback and he can take off when the play breaks down. Did you even watch the game last night? He kept trying to run between the tackles and got no where.

Thats a pathetic reason to get a BCS nod, I thought BCS games are for the best teams??

Pretty sure it was roughing the kicker....

Its not like this is the first year certain teams made BCS games while other more deserving ones didnt. Its about $$$$ not about the best teams, you should know that by now. VT was an even bigger joke making the game, after getting annihilated by Clemson AGAIN and playing all year in the subpar ACC. Yes, this game should have been Arkansas vs Boise State, but they probably would have gotten 20k fans and half the TV audience. Until they go to a playoff system this is what you get.

And yes I meant kicker, must need more coffee. :)

I was that guy for a while.... until we started playing Big Ten teams with real defenses that could stop the run. You're absolutely right. He would be a good receiver in the slot or a quick screen. Anything that puts him in space.

Bingo, almost same as my responce.

I know, and i will complain ever year it happens, lol. The real BCS game will be Friday night in jerry world.... Arkansas and K-state. Ill bet the Cotton bowl becomes a BCS game with in 2 years. Its really come along way.

God that fake FG. What a circus.

I couldnt believe it, only Michigan I sware lol. And how about VT's fake punt....LOL did you guys see the punter try and kick the ball while getting tackled? Beemer ball was not in the house last night, in fact they lost cause of special teams play, not somthing VT does very often.

Michigan didnt back into anything, they beat the teams on their schedule and because they have a huge fanbase that travels well they got the nod for a BCS game. Thats like saying MSU backed into the conf championship game. Seriously man, get real.

And MSU will have a shot to play in Indy next year, but you'll probably still choke against Wisconsin and play bridesmaid. Why should we expect anything different, its what you do.

And from my perspective the CEO of a multi-billion dollar company being from U of M just shows how successful you can be when you get a degree from Michigan. I'm sure there are plenty of janitors working at Allstate with degrees from MSU. They knew how to party though!!

Just in case you forgot, nice roughing the passer against the Badgers in that game, that still has to sting a bit. LOL

If you are sitting at home at #16 or #17 hoping someone in front of you loses, that's backing in. Just like the Denver Broncos did last weekend. Hard to back into the Conference Championship game with the best record in the Conference at 7-1. And just in case YOU forgot, Isaiah Lewis roughed the punter. And it is what it is.

I at least like that you're conceeding the division championship (and as a byproduct, the MSU/UM game).

The Allstate CEO being from Michigan made a lot of sense in hindsite. It wasn't fan base, your record, or anything else other than cronyism to keep the Sugar Bowls sponsor happy. And the rest of the country had to suffer with the mess we saw last night.
