Again, you're an idiot.
1. This is a B1G move, not a Michigan only. MSU will be part of this just as much as Michigan.
2. When asked about the affect on the Notre Dame game, he responded that ND is scheduled through the 2014 season and there's no immediate plan to change the game plan with them.
3. (and this is where you really get to be called a fucking moron). MSU's AD said almost verbatim the same exact words David Brandon said.
4. To add to the utter level of fucking retardedness that your posts are: Michigan state over the last 4 years has averaged 7.25 home games per season
*******
2012 - 7 home games
2011 - 7 home games
2010 - 8 home games (including the first 5 being at home)
2009 - 7 home games
2008 - 7 home games
The Big Ten agreement with the PAC-12 is what the 9th Big Ten game WOULD have been. That was the Big Ten decision. Who a school schedules for the remaining three games is entirely up to the school. The words 'Notre Dame' never came out of Hollis' mouth. Those words did come out of Brandon's mouth.
7 home games have been the norm, not the exception. And while I do understand your thought that MSU had 8 home games in 2010, and I do look at the FAU game as a home game, technically it was a road game. FAU's stadium wasn't completed in time, and FAU rented Ford Field on the idea that they would make more money with the game in Detroit than in their old stadium in Boca Raton. It was a FAU home game. Oh, and that 5th game (against Wisconsin) is scheduled by the Big Ten, not MSU.
With the series with the PAC-12, MSU will still have 7 home games even with ND. 4 home and away games in the Big Ten, with either the PAC-12 game or the ND game at home and the other away (5 & 5). If MSU continues with the games vs West Virginia and Alabama on future schedules, it may go to 6 home games one year and 8 in others. I would look at these games to possibly be lost than ND. There is and has been talk of a two year break in the schedule to change things up for a year or two. But while UM only has a contract until 2014, MSU has a contract with ND until 2026. I'd rather lose MAC games than ND.
Brandon is whining because he wants 8 home games with 3 'preseason' cupcakes.
