2011 Camaro issues Need GM tech help

I have a 2011 camaro SS in my shop right now. Came in with a checked engine light, stabilitrak light and reduced engine power light. I scanned and got a laundry list of codes including p0461- 5v reference circuit malfunction circuit 1. GM tech told me to replaced the fuel pump control module didnt fix it. I pulled the ecm connector off and found pin #38 corroded (which is a 5v reference wire), i cleaned and used dielectric grease, test drove for about 20 miles problem solved. So i had our quality control manager drive it complaint fixed to verify, after him trying to do a burn out he said, the reduced engine power warning came on and check engine. Scanned the code and p0461 came back on.

Now i noticed on a left hand turn with the wheel cut 75%-100% the reduced power warning comes back on and the oil pressure slowly drops to zero if you keep the wheel cut and throws code p0461.... their is oil in the car. if you turn the wheel back straight oil pressure comes back up to normal. Problem can only be duplicated in motion not standing still. I checked for pulled wires, pinched wires... found nothing. This problem is beyond me right now and i need some insight. Anyone heard of this problem before? Car runs great in a straight line and right turns.

GM tech told me to disconnected the oil pressure sensor but im not convinced thats the problem. If you have any suggestions please let me know, ive had this car for about 2 days now and the customer is getting antsy.

p0461 is normally from the levels between the two sides of the fuel tank not being equal. is it transfering the fuel?

Could be tuned/modded and owner doesn't want to fight the "not under warranty" battle with the dealership.

What he said. The Camaro has a saddle tank with a sending unit with pump in one side and a transfer pump in the other that sends fuel to the sending unit side. I think the unit is on the left side, so it would cavitate on a left hand turn.

Does the car have the problem with a full tank of gas?

When I said "my shop" i really meant I work at a dealership so everything is under warranty. Yes, the car has a full tank of gas and came in with it. The car is completely stock with only 2,000 miles on it. And im sorry the code it was throqing is p0641 not p0461 like I previously mentioned.

Wait, you found a corroded pin on the ECM from a car with 2,000 miles already...and it was cleaned instead of replaced? That pin is now going to be a problem the rest of the life of the car. The tin plating is now gone and watever material was removed during the cleaning has mad the pin smaller and could possibly cause an intermitent connection. I would replace the ECM or atleast try another one to see if it fixes the issue.

Another possible cause could be a loose ground. These new cars have so many ground points now. Check the fenders, firewall, engine block etc...

Try the jiggle test with the car running. Just grab parts of the harness and move it around. Something has to be loose or pinched.

Also refer to #09-06-03-004D in SI and go through every control module connector.

I'll see if I can find anything else.

Sounds like that code can be tripped by a ton of areas. I would do all the easy stuff first. Then work your way through the inertia check to see what potentially could cause the issue.

The map sensor wire was routed wrong from the factory, with the engine cover on it was pinching the signal reference wire to the MAP sensor, orange/black wire. With my multi meter hooked up I could see the resistance going up and down while moving the wire. Cut section of wire, soldered shrink tubed and wrapped back into the harness. No more problems.... Thanks for the insight guys it definatly took me for a ride.
