2011...2012? Charger sneak peak...

the door and hood scallops ruin it for me

door scoop shouldve been pulled forward to the fender, and doubled up, kinda like the old chargers and zr1. hood scoops should just go away completely

the car looks like a giant hulking lancer evo X

Car and Driver did a cover on the new Charger. Couple things to note.

Whatever asshat at Dodge that thought "let's send a red Charger with the worst possible red leather interior" should be shot. It look like absolute ass. I hope it doesn't make it into production with that shitty color leather.

They were discussing MPG and said that effectively the Charger will not get what the EPA has rated them to get in the past. Which was suprising to me. I mean, my charger on a good day got 22 mpg and it was rated at 26 I believe (may have been 25). So in reality there will be an increase, but on paper it should look the same. That's assuming C&D didn't screw anything up.

The way I understood the article I read was the slight bump in weight would negate any gains that were made in powertrain efficiency. One of the biggest complaints was fuel economy, but it appears they didn't really fix it.

The red with red/black interior looked pretty good. I wouldn't personally do it, but compared to the bathtub interiors of the first gen, it's a big step up.

This was red with red interior. It looked absolutely idiotic at best.

You're correct. They said weight gains in keeping with crash standards negated any fuel economy increase. I love my jeep and loved my charger, but filling these things up is ridiculous. On the highway my commander is lucky to get above 20.0 mpg even with me completely feathering acceleration and keeping it at posted limits or under.

Saw it on 696 this morning, decidedly NOT a fan now. Looks like they flattened out the front end, Previous Gen much better IMHO
