2007 Saleen F150

Don't know much about them. We aren't a Saleen dealer. They are really sharp though.

very nice truck, but I'm concerned about the tranny.

They use a stock tranny, with a valve body to help firm up the shift and reprogram a little in the computer for shift points.

Now the lightning has a completely different transmission than the regular F150 when they produced them. Ford used the "guts" of one of their industrial trucks in the Lightning. That is why there are stock lightnings (5000#) running 10's with a shift kit and aftermarket convertor.

I'm not sure how much i would trust a regular f150 tranny behind a much more powerful engine putting out a ton more torque on such a heavy truck.

I talked to the guy at autorama for about 2 hours about this truck, we discussed everything

i would love to have one of those, i was so bummed that they decided not to make a new lightning, awesome trucks.

When i was walking around at WW dream cruise this past august i saw a big as saleen enclosed trialer in a parking lot, walked over to see what was goin on and they were about to load up the F150, I sat and watched and the guy driven the truck gave it a good amount of gas for a few seconds.....man did that truck SCREAM, and light the tires up pretty damn quick....absolutly love it.

$60K for the supercharged 5.4 with 450hp/500trq and I believe it was $48k for the NA version with300hp/350trq.I stopped to look at them the other day.
