so last night, got in my car put her in drive, and boom trans is in limp mode where the car wont go over 5 mph.
so i notice the dash indicator light stays in park when i shift her through the gears.
my buddys who works on alot of newwer dodge cars says its the shifter interlock because if both the cable and inter lock dont work together it puts the trans in limp mode. i can move the car out of park with out my foot on the brake but my brake lights still work (common for the brake lights to quit when the interlock is broke).
im going out now to tear her apart and see whats up.
anyone else have an idea if this looks ok of what else it could be?
anyone know where i can buy this interlock today as it may be special because of the police package?
