2005 Troy-Bilt Pony lawn tractor in fair condition.

• 42" twin-blade side discharge mowing deck
• 7-speed Shift-on-the-Go transmission
• All steel construction
• 17.5 HP* Briggs & Stratton I/C engine

Here's the deal....I got this from a friend a little over 2 years ago. It had virtually no usage at that point, but it was damaged. I straighten out the body (still has some waves, not perfect), replaced the bent PTO lever and bushings. The PTO works great now. The engine starts good and runs good. Periodically while cutting grass, it seems to want to quit running. If I disenage the blades it stumbles for a moment and then will continue running. Engage the blades again and keep cutting. It will sometimes do this multiple times. Most of the time its fine and cuts great.

I need a bigger mower and want this one out of the garage.

Where are you located ? I might be interested. We are a Troy Bilt repair facility and guess who does the warranty work :sagrin: I can probably get any parts I need free. Did you check the safety switches ?
 
Thanks for looking. The lawn tractor is gone and the New mower is coming!!! Gotta love end of the season sales.
