2005 Mustang GT Auto Magnacharger Results

We just recently finished installing an Intercooled Magnacharger on a 2005 Mustang GT Convertible. This car was factory stock with no performance modifications. This kit is very nice and included everything needed for installation. We saw a gain of 137 RWHP and 95.4 RWTQ. Our custom tune was extremely conservative and we think that if you wanted to get more aggresive with it you could probably see another 20 RWHP, but we're confident that with this tune the car will live forever! The kit has a 3.3" pulley and made 6.5-7 lbs. of boost.

Click here to see the video of the car on the dyno.

Don't worry, if we need a V6, I know you have one that I could twist your arm to borrow.

If the weather holds off I should have track results early tomorrow morning. I brought the car home so I could go straight to Mialn tomorrow.

Is it me or does it seem that it shifts outta 2nd to quick?

The ratio difference between 1st and 2nd is much smaller than between the other gears. If it shifts out of 1st at 6.5krpm, it only drops to about 4.9krpm, so the time spent in 2nd getting back to 6.5krpm won't be long. Going from 2nd to 3rd at 6.5krpm, it drops to about 4.1krpm.
