2005 Monte LS Car died while driving

Car is getting fuel, and still has power. It just stopped running. Any ideas?

3.8. No lights come on, no misfiring, engine just dies. It will restart sometimes right away, sometimes it takes a while.

thats what i was thinking too. and its probably a 3.1 they didnt offer the 3.8 in the montes till 97 or 98 unless one was swapped in

have someone scan it see what shows up, most parts places do it i think.

we were thinking ignition module, but i never thought about the crank sensor. Thanks for the tips.
