i changed the ignition switch it worked after that for a day then the same shit im thinkin a relay somewhere ? hoping someone had this problem before its a guessing game ???

The relays are under the hood, drivers side fender...easy to swap out one relay with another...they pull straight up...most are the same... All are usually marked on the plastic cover. One very common problem with later dodge products is corroded connection under the power distribution box...
I'm assuming you have already checked all fuses...

Check the battery cables at the power center under the hood. Corrosion problems in that area are very very common.

i checked the fuses and went thru the relays under the hood did ignition switch took the battery and tray out to check for coroded wires it all seems fine and clean so you say check under the fuse box for coroded wires ? im also going to look at the wires connecting to the ignition switch

Print a schematic and use a volt meter to check the contacts under the relays. See if one has a bad power or ground.

As stated it's usually a problem with the power distribution center under the hood, easiest way to check is to turn the acc. on and go hit or shake the box.

ive had it running while i hit/messed with the box on acc while i did it i changed relays i have no clue i think im going to go with the voltmeter thats what i was originally going to do i just thought some one on here has had the problem its usually somthing so simple. Why cant all cars be a n/a v8 so simple lol but i thank you all for the input i would apreciate more

average use i guess idk lol im thinkin it might be a relay because after i changed the ign switch it worked for a day which leads me to beleive that the new source of electricity was strong and went thru the bad relay and now its messed up again i have no clue

i asked because i fixed a few wire issues on ram, dakotas ect. few explorers too.
The wires on the column would break or come loose due to the tilt being used everyday.

yea thats a good question i will be checking tomarow so like i said before ill take any and all advice

i looked under the fuse/relay box all wires seemed fine dirty thats about it so i started to test with my test light and i put in one of the relay prong holes and when i put it in the heat started to work i was also wondering why there was no relay in that spot in the first place ??? any ideas

the manual should show what goes in that spot
what all doesnt work?
i wonder if its a front control mod issue

can you find out which relay that was by retesting. I'll check the schematic tommorow and see if it ties into anything meaningful. you may have provided ground path. Sure sounds like ground is missing.
