2004 Cobra T56 Transmission

I bought this about a year ago from a guy switching to an auto trans in his cobra. The transmission has 40,000 miles on it. i had intentions of putting it into a foxbody, but sold the car a while ago. trans has the stock shifter on it, no arm, no bellhousing, etc. just the trans and shifter.

ill post pictures in a day or two when i get it out of the garage

I'm interested in the T56, but you would have to come WAY down on price. you can buy a new magnum for a few hundred more or get a nice used viper spec with WAY less miles
 
Im not in the market for a T-56 but I agree, that price is not realistic. Ive seen T-56's with shifter and driveshaft from 1k-1,500 with less miles.

40k isnt a lot of miles but it is. 40k isnt a lot if uncle Hank drove the car around and took it easy. 40K is a lot if little Tommy was out racing every minivan bangin gears and who knows at this point
 
I would be interested for around 850....might sound outrageously low but i don't trust a 40k stock T56 that has been sitting for awhile. If a guy took it out to go auto then he was beating on it pretty good i would assume. Gonna have to take it to D&D to tear it down and look it over and probably rebuild. As stated I also have to buy a driveshaft, arm, bell, etc...
 
i understand, i just dont want to lose money on what ive got, if someone wants a stock replacement for less than that trans, they can buy mine. i can sit on this for a year if i have to, im in no hurry
