Year/Make/Model: 2003 Subaru WRX, who doesn't love bugeyes?
Location: SE MI
Price: READ!
Mileage: 92171 and counting
-------------
I just bought this car not too long ago. However, I've come to the realization that I can't afford to insure both this car and the cobra in the coming months and at this point I feel the cobra is more important. I'm willing to do a trade+cash but I'll need a good chunk of cash (at least 6000) with the trade since I owe on it. I would prefer something with good gas mileage and something I'll want to only put PLPD on, if you know what I mean.
So here's the skinny!
2003 Subaru WRX
92171 miles (DD, so this goes up)
used to be black, now its black with a dark blue pearl (looks black in 99% of light, lol)
5spd
Good:
-Tires have 4k on them, VERY nearly new condition (~$480 new)
-Stage 2 Comp clutch (~$375) and Comp Lightweight flywheel (~$250) also have 4k miles on them
-Prodrive uppipe (~$360 new)
-Hayward & Scott catback (~$500 new)
-HKS downpipe (~$175 new)
-Front struts have 50k on them
-MUCH newer and blacked out headlights w/ LED turn signals (paid $200)
-6 disc CD changer
Bad:
-4th gear syncro doesn't agree all the time, grinds just a little but always goes in. If the revs drop, its fine. Also, its only the syncro on the one side, I've never had it pop out of gear on me and its never had trouble when downshifting. Its been the same since I bought it and rest of the trans is great.
-Car was repainted and its not the most amazing job, some orange peel on the roof. It was repainted because the car was in a rear end accident, everything looks on the up and up now
2
-Pass. side skirt is missing. I actually prefer it without the skirts so the driver side skirt is off as well
THATS IT
The car was recently dynoed at the SI dyno day and put down 205whp. On the same day, a brand new Evo X put down 206whp, so theres a direct comparison for ya. Its actually pretty quick and revs out nice and SMOOTH.
The car will get a complete interior and exterior detailing for the new buyer (probably from SS4Matt). There are some clearcoat scratches I couldn't get out and I'm not comfortable using strong rubbing compound. When the new buyer picks it up, it will look as good as it can possibly be
These were before the new headlights and stock corner markers:
I'll try to get more pics up.
KBB is 9,100
NADA is 9,900
Value for recent purchases is ~$2340.
Looking for 9,000 with all the nice new extras, OBO.
