In any case, do you know if this was this an actual patrol car, or a detective's/supervisor's vehicle?
 
it was a k9 car. so, wherever that would put it... so, i guess it could be put in the category of patrol car. the detectives car will typically bring $1-2000 more than the patrol cars because of the different options.

plus I believe the detective cars are not driven as hard, per se...

Just weighing it now in my mind, nice replacement winter car, or spring supercharger on the stang.

I'm surprised the car would be retired with only 89,000 miles on it. That's just a pub for a well maintained car.

it just depends on the department... i bought 3 from a county one over from mine and an 00 had 188k. 02 135k. and 04 w/ 139k. and i had a 99 from pn state police that had 110k. then a local one w/ 102k. depends on the department. there are ones out there w/ 50k for sale, just got to find them at the right time.
