2003 1500HD 4x4

Just curious - what did those "slip on" covers cost to have them fabbed up?

Nice looking truck with all the necessary repairs (other than costmetic) done - wish I had the cash/space for it! I am already a couple vehicles "heavy" at the moment.

It's my buddies shop, I was thinking of marketing them, so we ate the setup cost. A full sheet of 400 stainless costs $300 iirc, but that's enough to make 5-6 pieces. The profile is pretty simple, so if you have access to the steel and a press brake, you can make the profile pretty easy. We didn't bother with the little 1mm ribs at the inner rocker side. I think these trucks are old enough, most people won't sink $200 into outer rockers. I figured why not go stainless and never worry about them again, stone chips won't hurt it.
