2002 yamaha R6 turn signal problem??

i put led mirrors on the bike and when i turn one side on the other side blinks faintly,,cant figure this out

I dont know about Sport Bikes...But i know on Harleys you need an Equalizer when you do something like that

Yup, you need a load equalizer to make them operate correctly. I can check on one tomorrow when I get to work if you would like.

I don't have one in stock, but it looks like a few different sources offer them. I don't have a whole lot of experience with the Yamahas, but usually the other turnsignal will light up because the led's use much less power than the bulbs they are replacing. The power tends to backfeed through the turnsignal relay and wiring. I have had good luck installing a resistor between power and ground to slow the flashing to proper speeds when led's are used as turnsignals...you might want to give that a try. I want to say that they were 10 ohm, 20 watt ceramic resistors like the ones that come with some led tailight kits.
