2001 ranger 4x4 4.0L

Hey just saw this add, my nephew had sent me pics of this craigslist add a bout a week ago, I was a little leary looking at the add but now that I know its a MM member I can consider it, anything that is not visible in the pic wrong with it? rust etc? whats the best you will do on it, trying to help my 17 yr old nephew out going to probably cost me money but oh well, LOL

ccbchevy........I have a brand new complete OEM catback off my old 2003 4x4 4.0L Ranger in the attic. If you buy this guys truck you can have it to replace his old rusty exhaust. 2001 and 2003 are the same. I took it off with only 15 miles on the truck so it is as new as a used catback could get.

I will work with you on price, i posted about 12 pictures on the CL add, so i dont think i am missing anything picture wise, you can see most of the rust spots in the pictures. I didnt mention that the AC needs to charged, and it also needs a door switch, the door ajar light is on, but i never bothered with it since it wasnt a big deal. The CV shaft boot has a tear in it and like i said the exhaust is rusty. Come take it for a ride and you can let me know what you think. I priced at 2,700 since CL people always low ball, so i can work on the price with you to help a guy out. It has been the most reliable truck ive ever owned, runs great, but the body is a little beat up, which is expected for a 14 year old Michigan truck, had the motor and trans replaced at 218k and its at 280k now. Shoot me a text or call.

Hey 12sec kid just saw this today have not been near a computer since friday at 10:30 let me get with my nephew and I will try and take a look this weekend.

Yeah just talked to him, he said he will come get it this weekend, thanks man

Yea he is 17 and trying to teach him responsibilities, he wants a truck so he can branch off from my father and do landscaping on his own and do snow in the winter. Any kid trying to better themselves and work hard you have to try and help. Trying to make him come up with as much of the money as he can that way he will appreciate it more, but I will cover what ever he does not have.

+1 that's cool to help out the kid like that.

Thanks mike I look at it like I am trying to raise 8 kids, but I only really have 2 sons (3 and 5)my sister has 3 boys 18, 17 and 12 and tho she is married to their father he is not a real good dad, and my wifes brother has 2 sons (6 and 1) and a daughter 4, I look at as I am responsible for helping raise them all. I dont care how good of a parent you try to be you cant do it by yourself, that where aunts, uncles, grand parents, best friends, etc have to step up and make it happen.
