2000 Taurus DOHC

Electrical issue with a 00 Ford Taurus. The battery will drain over night (new battery) with the car sitting and the power locks are weak. They dont actuate the locks, but are feeding voltage power thru the circuit. All four door locks attempt to move the rod, but dont follow thru. All four act this way.
The switches checked out good, the motors function when applied power, the relay in the GEM for the door locks clicks. It's known that the relay is a culprit, but was wondering before I break out the iron and replace that integrated relay, if someone has any more solid input?

Car has no aftermarket alarm/remote start. Car has factory radio with the cd changer (pulled the fuse for that). I did notice that the relay in the GEM was clicking by itself and didnt know if it was the antitheft sensing low voltage (from the battery dipping to low) and was trying to arm the car or if that is related to the parasitic draw?

Brand spankin new battery. The old battery was ok (about a year old) and just to be safe, it was warrantied out for another one. Charging system works great. I even pulled the alt off and load tested it rather than simply rely on a voltage test.

Idk if this car has that. I know it has a GEM, and if I remove that, it would take out a lot of the system and not really pinpoint the culprit.

CCRM is the constant control relay module, a black metal box under the hood, mounted to the top of the radiator support if it has one

Disconnect the battery (neg or positive) & use a test light in line to re connect. (make sure hood light if you have one is disconnected and everything is turned off-doors closed).
If there is enough current being drawn to light the test light, then you have a draw large enough to kill the battery overnight.
Start pulling fuses.
When you pull one and the test light goes out-you found the circuit.
Now print up a schematic and see how many items are on the circuit.

So far, by me pulling the disc changer fuse, it has been fine. I think the changer was keeping the theft system awake in turn killing that battery. It should have went dead by now at the rate it was draining the battery.

Next up is diag the door locks. Pretty set on ithat being the non serviceable relay.

May I ask for someone to post up the removal/install of the drivers front door lock actuator with illustrations/pics?

Without busted any clips and successfully retaining all the blood in my hands, was able to remove, repair, replace the actuator.
