I hit a wall trying to remove the front rotors on my pickup. Calipers off, axle nut off, and the rotor will not shake loose.

What am I missing here? I've done countless cars and lighter duty trucks, but never a 1 ton. Is the rotor just rusted to the hub that badly or do i have to pull some trick to disassemble the bearing??

You likely will have to BTF out of it. Put a piece of wood un the rotor if you are trying to preserve the rotor.

I dunno if your rotor has it, but some rotors have small threaded holes in the rotor hat. You run a bolt into them and use them to push the rotor off the hub. Dunno if you have that option, but thought I would mention it.

Still no luck getting them off, but haven't had much of a chance to get the real torch out. I am guessing they've never been off the truck, it only has 61k on it.
Unfortunately, no threaded holes to use.

I'm half trying to save them, they might make good lamp bases when i'm done yanking them off! v8 or I6 cam for a post and good to go!
