2000 Ford Focus ZX3
Great mileage – 30+ on the highway. Car is an automatic. Car has been meticulously maintained since new; oil changed with Mobil 1 synthetic at each interval. In last the 10,000 miles the car has had many items replaced:
Front tires
Rear brakes (shoes & drums)
Rear wheel bearings
Fuel filter
Spark plugs
Oil & filter change (synthetic Mobil 1 – about 1K miles ago)
Timing belt, tensioner, and idler (mileage sticker in engine compartment)
Water Pump & coolant flush
Serpentine belt
Pass rear sway bar link
Front drivers caliper (OEM) and rotor & brake fluid flush (other side is about 15K old)
Upper motor mount
EVAP hose
Wiper blades
MAF sensor cleaned
K&N air filter cleaned
PCV Valve
220,000 highway miles (driven on a 100 mile + work commute daily for a number of years). New car forces sale.
The car has a DNX 304ss exhaust system on it; not too loud but louder than stock. It has had many item replaced in its life – almost all of the common wear items (there are lot of things that are known Focus wear items) including the alternator, thermostat housing & thermostat, front sway bar links, tie rod ends, fuel pump, throttle cable, valve cover gasket, plug wires, power steering pressure hose, font coil springs, fan resistor & control, etc. Car has been a great commuter vehicle!
A few things that are broken/don't work: Windshield is cracked, A/C works intermittently, driver side door does not unlock with key fob, parking brake cables need replaced but I never used it.
